My name is Olivia Fronteddu, and my passion for dance is endless because of its beauty, artistry, discipline, athleticism, and ability to convey emotions and stories that transcend boundaries. I have been dancing since the age of 2 and competing since the age of 5. I have had the great opportunity to learn under some of the most influential and renowned teachers and choreographers. They have played such a significant role in helping me achieve many of my goals and dreams. One of my biggest accomplishments was successfully completely the entire Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. In each of these grade and vocational ballet exams, I have received the highest level of achievement, Distinction. I have been so fortunate enough to have my dancing career take me around the world. From being on the Canadian Showdance Team and travelling to Reisa, Germany to compete in the IDO World Championships, to training in Barcelona, Spain with their world famous dance instructors. Throughout my life, I have had the opportunity at attend many ballet intensives such as the Alberta Ballet Intensive. My most favourite experience was spending my summer at the Joffrey Ballet School in Chicago in 2019. While I was there I trained in their Pre-Professional Intensive Program and was trained by their faculty and top Principal Dancers. I was later on offered a permanent place on their Pre-Professional Company. In every opportunity and experience I have ever encountered, I have gained so much knowledge and furthered my love and appreciation for every form of dance. I am so excited to be able to share my knowledge and passion for dance with the upcoming generations for many years to come.
